machine translationThere is disagreement about its chain of transmission. Sulaymān b. Bilāl narrated it alone from ʿUbaydullāh al-ʿUmarī, from Thābit, from Anas, from Abū Ṭalḥah. Salām b. Abī al-Ṣahbāʾ, Ṣāliḥ and Jasr b. Farqad corroborated him from Thābit.
in مسند أحمد, p. 16557 - Dāraquṭnī
machine translationAll of these are errors (wahm), and the correct version is the narration of Ḥammād b. Salamah, meaning that he inserted between Thābit and Anas in it Sulaymān, the freed slave of al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī.
in مسند أحمد, p. 16557 - Dāraquṭnī
machine translationThe correct version is what Ḥammād b. Salamah narrated from Thābit, from Sulaymān, the freed slave of al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī, from ʿAbdullāh b. Abī Ṭalḥah, from his father, meaning, rather than what al-ʿUmarī and others narrated from Thābit, from Anas, from Abū Ṭalḥah. All of them erred (wahm) in it regarding Thābit.
in مسند أحمد, p. 16557 - Dāraquṭnī
machine translationAll of these are errors (wahm), and the correct version is the narration of Ḥammād b. Salamah, meaning that he inserted between Thābit and Anas in it Sulaymān, the freed slave of al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī. A group narrated it from Anas, from Abū Ṭalḥah, and a group from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ. It has also been narrated from Abū Ṭalḥah by routes other than these two.
