✧ One day the Messenger of God ﷺ woke up cheerful, with joy visible on his face. They said: “O Messenger of God, you have woken up cheerful today, with joy visible on your face?” He said: “Yes, a messenger came to me from my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, and said: ‘Whoever from your community sends one prayer upon you, God writes for him ten good deeds, erases from him ten evil deeds, raises him ten degrees, and returns the like to him.’”

In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationAll of these are errors (wahm), and the correct version is the narration of Ḥammād b. Salamah, meaning that he inserted between Thābit and Anas in it Sulaymān, the freed slave of al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī. A group narrated it from Anas, from Abū Ṭalḥah, and a group from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ. It has also been narrated from Abū Ṭalḥah by routes other than these two.

    in مسند أحمد, p. 16545
  • Maghlaṭay

machine translationIsmāʿīl mentioned it with a sound (ṣaḥīḥ) chain, and al-Nasāʾī also recorded it, and its chain is good (jayyid).

    in مسند أحمد, p. 16545

  • ʿAlī al-Madīnī

machine translationThere is disagreement about its chain of transmission. Sulaymān b. Bilāl narrated it alone from ʿUbaydullāh al-ʿUmarī, from Thābit, from Anas, from Abū Ṭalḥah. Salām b. Abī al-Ṣahbāʾ, Ṣāliḥ and Jasr b. Farqad corroborated him from Thābit.
