حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ
لَمَّا صَبَّحَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْبَرَ وَقَدْ أَخَذُوا مَسَاحِيَهُمْ وَغَدَوْا إِلَى حُرُوثِهِمْ وَأَرَضِيهِمْ، فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ مَعَهُ الْجَيْشُ نَكَصُوا مُدْبِرِينَ، فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، إِنَّا إِذَا نَزَلْنَا بِسَاحَةِ قَوْمٍ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ

✧ When the Prophet of God ﷺ reached Khaybar at dawn, the people had taken up their shovels and gone out early to their fields and lands. When they saw the Prophet of God ﷺ with the army, they retreated, turning back. The Prophet of God said: “God is greatest, God is greatest. When we descend upon the courtyard of a people, evil is the morning of those warned.”
