✧ Mutarrif bin Abdullah from his father

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

فِي صَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ، قَالَ: " مَا صَامَ وَمَا أَفْطَرَ، أَوْ لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ

✧ Regarding fasting perpetually, he said: "He has neither fasted nor broken the fast," or "he did not fast and did not break the fast."
