حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُلَازِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ، فَأَطْلَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِزَارَهُ، فَطَارَقَ بِهِ رِدَاءَهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ: كُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ ؟

Translation

✧ He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about praying in a single garment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ released his izār and covered himself with his robe, then he stood up and prayed. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Does any of you have two garments?"
