حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَكِيعَ بْنَ عُدُسٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
إِنَّ رُؤْيَا الْمُسْلِمِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ، وَهِيَ عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا، فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا وَقَعَتْ " قَالَ: أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ: " لَا يُحَدِّثُ بِهَا إِلَّا حَبِيبًا أَوْ لَبِيبًا

✧ Indeed, the dream of a Muslim is one of forty parts of prophethood. It is on the wing of a bird as long as he does not relate it. When he relates it, it comes to pass.” He said: I think he said: “He should not relate it except to a loved one or an intelligent one.”
