حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ
الرُّؤْيَا مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِرِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا صَاحِبُهَا، فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا وَقَعَتْ، وَلَا تُحَدِّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا عَالِمًا أَوْ نَاصِحًا أَوْ لَبِيبًا، وَالرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ
Translation

✧ A dream is suspended on a bird's leg as long as its owner does not speak of it; when he speaks of it, it comes to pass. And do not tell them except to a scholar, a sincere adviser, or a wise person. A righteous dream is one of forty parts of prophethood.
