حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَصْرَ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَامَ سَرِيعًا، فَدَخَلَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ وَرَأَى مَا فِي وُجُوهِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ تَعَاجُبِهِمْ [وَلَيْسَ مَا عَلَيْهِ]، قَالَ: ذَكَرْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ تِبْرًا عِنْدَنَا، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ، أَوْ يَبِيتَ عِنْدَنَا، فَأَمَرْتُ بِقِسْمَتِهِ ".

✧ I prayed the 'Asr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he said the salam, he stood quickly and entered upon one of his wives, then he came out and saw the astonishment in the faces of the people, [not what he had]. He said: "During the prayer I remembered that we had some gold dust, and I disliked that it should remain until evening or spend the night with us, so I ordered it to be distributed."
