حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ قَالَ

أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

Translation

✧ Hajjaj informed us, from ‘Amr b. Shu‘ayb, from his father, from ‘Abdullah b. ‘Amr.

وَالْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَعَنْ عَمِّهِ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ قَالَ كَانَتْ حَبِيبَةُ ابْنَةُ سَهْلٍ تَحْتَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ فَكَرِهَتْهُ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا دَمِيمًا فَجَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَا أَرَاهُ فَلَوْلَا مَخَافَةُ اللهِ ﷻ لَبَزَقْتُ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَرُدِّينَ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ الَّتِي أَصْدَقَكِ؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَرَدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ وَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ فَكَانَ ذَلِكَ أَوَّلَ خُلْعٍ كَانَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ
