حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِلنِّسَاءِ: تَصَدَّقْنَ وَلَوْ مِنْ حُلِيِّكُنَّ. قَالَتْ: فَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ خَفِيفَ ذَاتِ الْيَدِ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: أَيَسَعُنِي أَنْ أَضَعَ صَدَقَتِي فِيكَ وَفِي بَنِي أَخِي أَوْ بَنِي أَخٍ لِي يَتَامَى ؟ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: سَلِي عَنْ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ. قَالَتْ: فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَإِذَا عَلَى بَابِهِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا: زَيْنَبُ، تَسْأَلُ عَمَّا أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ. فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا بِلَالٌ، فَقُلْنَا: انْطَلِقْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَلْهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، وَلَا تُخْبِرْ مَنْ نَحْنُ. فَانْطَلَقَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ هُمَا؟ فَقَالَ: زَيْنَبُ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّ الزَّيَانِبِ؟ قَالَ: زَيْنَبُ امْرَأَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَزَيْنَبُ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةُ. فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، لَهُمَا أَجْرَانِ: أَجْرُ الْقَرَابَةِ، وَأَجْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said to the women: Give charity, even from your jewelry. She said: Abdullah was light of hand, so she said to him: Is it enough for me to place my charity in you and in the orphan sons of my brother? Abdullah said: Ask the Prophet ﷺ about that. She said: So I came to the Prophet ﷺ, and at his door was a woman from the Ansar called Zaynab, asking about the same thing I was asking about. Bilal came out to us, so we said: Go to the Messenger of God ﷺ and ask him about that, but do not tell him who we are. He went to the Messenger of God ﷺ, who said: Who are they? He said: Zaynab. He said: Which Zaynab? He said: Zaynab the wife of Abdullah, and Zaynab the Ansari woman. He said: Yes, they have two rewards: the reward of kinship and the reward of charity.
