حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ غُلَامٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ قُباءٍ أَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَهُ شَيْخًا أَنَّهُ قَالَ
جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقُبَاءَ فَجَلَسَ فِي فَيْءِ الْأُجُمِ وَاجْتَمَعَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ، فَاسْتَسْقَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَسُقِيَ فَشَرِبَ وَأَنَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَأَنَا أَحْدَثُ الْقَوْمِ، فَنَاوَلَنِي فَشَرِبْتُ وَحَفِظْتُ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ الصَّلَاةَ وَعَلَيْهِ نَعْلَاهُ لَمْ يَنْزِعْهُمَا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came to us in Quba and sat in the shade of the fortress. People gathered around him. He asked for water and was given some, and he drank while I was on his right and I was the youngest of the people. He handed it to me, and I drank. I remember that he prayed with us that day while wearing his two sandals, and he did not remove them.
