✧ Aamer al-Mazni, about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ بِمِنًى عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدٌ أَحْمَرُ، قَالَ: وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يُعَبِّرُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: فَجِئْتُ حَتَّى أَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي بَيْنَ قَدَمِهِ وَشِرَاكِهِ. قَالَ: فَجَعَلْتُ أَعْجَبُ مِنْ بَرْدِهَا.

✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ addressing the people at Minā on a mule, wearing a red striped cloak (burd). He said: and a man from the people of Badr was in front of him interpreting for him. He said: I came forward until I put my hand between his foot and his sandal strap. He said: and I began to marvel at its coolness.
