✧ Grain, whether my son Khalid

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ سَلَّامِ أَبِي شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ حَبَّةَ وَسَوَاءَ ابْنَيْ خَالِدٍ قَالَا

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصْلِحُ شَيْئًا فَأَعَنَّاهُ، فَقَالَ: لَا تَأْيَسَا مِنَ الرِّزْقِ مَا تَهَزَّزَتْ رُؤُوسُكُمَا، فَإِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ تَلِدُهُ أُمُّهُ أَحْمَرَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قِشْرَةٌ، ثُمَّ يَرْزُقُهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

Translation

✧ We entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while he was repairing something, and we helped him. He said: "Do not despair of provision as long as your heads shake, for a person is born from his mother red, with no shell upon him, then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, provides for him."
