حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ سَلَّامٍ أَبِي شُرَحْبِيلَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَبَّةَ وَسَوَاءَ ابْنَيْ خَالِدٍ يَقُولَانِ
أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَعْمَلُ عَمَلًا أَوْ يَبْنِي بِنَاءً فَأَعَنَّاهُ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَعَا لَنَا، وَقَالَ: لَا تَأْيَسَا مِنَ الْخَيْرِ مَا تَهَزَّزَتْ رُؤُوسُكُمَا، إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ تَلِدُهُ أُمُّهُ أَحْمَرَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قِشْرَةٌ، ثُمَّ يُعْطِيهِ اللهُ وَيَرْزُقُهُ
Translation

✧ We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was doing some work or building a structure, and we helped him with it. When he finished, he supplicated for us and said: "Do not despair of good as long as your heads shake. Indeed a person is born from his mother red, with no shell upon him, then Allah gives him and provides for him."
