✧ I went with the Prophet ﷺ to Baqīʿ al-Muṣallā. He put his hand into some food, then withdrew it, and it had been adulterated or mixed, so he said: He is not one of us who deceives us.

machine translationQays b. al-Rabīʿ narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsā and said: Saʿīd b. ʿUmayr, from his paternal uncle Abū Burdah. Sharīk differed from him, so he narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsā and said: from Jumayʿ b. ʿUmayr, from his maternal uncle Abū Burdah. Muʿāwiyah b. Hishām said, from Sharīk: Jumayʿ b. ʿUmayr or ʿUmayr b. Jumayʿ. And Munjāb said, from Sharīk, from Wāʾil Abū Bakr, from al-Barāʾ, from Abū Burdah, and he erred (wahima); rather it is the hadith of ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsā.
