حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ ذَرٍّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
جَاءَنَا مِنْ عِنْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْيَوْمَ عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ يَرْفُقُ بِنَا، وَطَاعَةُ اللهِ وَطَاعَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْفَقُ بِنَا، نَهَانَا أَنْ نَزْرَعَ أَرْضًا إِلَّا أَرْضًا يَمْلِكُ أَحَدُنَا رَقَبَتَهَا أَوْ مِنْحَةَ رَجُلٍ.

✧ He came to us from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade today a matter that was kind to us, but obedience to Allah and obedience to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is kinder to us. He forbade us from cultivating any land except land whose neck one of us owns or a man's grant.'
