حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ
أَنَّ عَقِيلَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي جُشَمٍ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْمُ، فَقَالُوا: بِالرِّفَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ، فَقَالَ: لَا تَقُولُوا ذَاكُمْ، قَالُوا: فَمَا نَقُولُ يَا أَبَا يَزِيدَ؟ قَالَ: قُولُوا: بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكُمْ، وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكُمْ؛ إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ
Translation

✧ Aqil b. Abi Talib married a woman from Banu Jusham. The people entered upon him and said, "With harmony and sons." He said, "Do not say that." They said, "What should we say, O Abu Yazid?" He said, "Say: May God bless you all, and bless upon you all. Thus we were commanded."
