حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ
أَنَّهُ لُدِغَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لَوْ أَنَّكَ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ. قَالَ سُهَيْلٌ: فَكَانَ أَبِي إِذَا لُدِغَ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا يَقُولُ: قَالَهَا ؟ فَإِنْ قَالُوا نَعَمْ، قَالَ: كَأَنَّهُ يَرَى أَنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ
Translation

✧ He was stung, and he mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'If you had said when evening came: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created, it would not have harmed you.' Suhayl said: My father, if one of us was stung, would say: 'Did he say it?' If they said yes, he said: 'It is as if he thinks it will not harm him.'
