✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the mosque and saw a softness among the people. He said: "I am inclined to appoint an imam for the people, then go out and not be able to find any man who stays behind from prayer in his house except that I would burn it down upon him." Ibn Umm Maktum said: "O Messenger of Allah, between me and the mosque there are palm trees and other trees, and I cannot find a guide at every hour. Is it permissible for me to pray in my house?" He said: "Do you hear the call to prayer?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then come to it."
