✧ We approached with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until we passed by the mosque of Banu Mu'awiyah. He entered and prayed two rak'ahs, and we prayed with him. He confided privately to his Lord, Mighty and Majestic, for a long time. He said: I asked my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, for three things: I asked Him not to destroy my nation by drowning, and He granted it to me. I asked Him not to destroy my nation by famine, and He granted it to me. I asked Him not to make their violence among themselves, but He refused me that.
