✧ "Would that you had a young girl to play with and she would play with you?!" He said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my father was struck down on the day of Uhud and left seven daughters of his, so I married a woman who is a manager, who gathers their heads and takes care of them." He said, "You have done well, if Allah wills." He said, "Indeed, if we were to come to Sirar, we would order a camel to be slaughtered, and we would stay by it that day of ours, and she would hear of us and shake out her cushions." He said: I said, "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, we have no cushions." He said, "It will be. When you arrive, do a wise deed." He said: When we came to Sirar, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered a camel to be slaughtered, and we stayed by it that day. When evening came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went in, and we went in. He said: I told the woman the story and what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said to me. She said, "That is yours, so hearing and obedience." He said: When morning came, I took hold of the camel's head and brought it until I made it kneel at the door of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then I sat in the mosque near him. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and saw the camel and said, "What is this?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is a camel that Jabir brought." He said, "Where is Jabir?" So I was called to him. He said, "Come, son of my brother, take the head of your camel, for it is yours." He said: He called Bilal and said, "Go with Jabir and give him an uqiyyah." So I went with him and he gave me an uqiyyah and added a little more. He said: By Allah, it kept increasing among us, and we saw its place in my house until it was lost yesterday among what the people lost, meaning the day of al-Harrah. So in the edition of the Islamic Treasure Society, and in the edition of the Risalah Foundation: or he said. So in the edition of the Islamic Treasure Society, and in the edition of the Risalah Foundation: our house.
