✧ Al-Hajjaj came to Madinah, and we asked Jabir b. Abdullah. He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ used to pray Zuhr at midday, 'Asr while the sun was clear, Maghrib when it had set, and 'Isha' sometimes he would delay it and sometimes he would hasten it. When he saw that they had gathered, he would hasten, and when he saw that they were slow, he would delay. As for Fajr, he said: They used to, or he said: He used to pray it in the darkness before dawn.
