حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
ذَبَحْنَا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ الْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ فَنَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْبِغَالِ وَالْحَمِيرِ، وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنِ الْخَيْلِ

✧ On the day of Khaybar we slaughtered horses, mules, and donkeys, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from mules and donkeys, but did not forbid horses.
