✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by Jabir during the expedition of Tabuk. He said: My camel had become exhausted. He said: "What is the matter with you, O Jabir?" I said: "My camel has collapsed." He said: He came to it from its rear — 'Affan said: and its rear was normal — and he supplicated and spurred it. He said: It kept leading the camels. He said: He came to me and said: "What did the camel do?" I said: "It has kept leading them." He said: "For how much did you buy it?" I said: "For thirteen dinars." He said: "Sell it to me for that price, and you may ride it to Madinah." I said: "Yes." He said: When I reached Madinah, I tied its halter and brought it to the Prophet ﷺ, and he gave me the price and gave me the camel.
