✧ We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: The prayer time came. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Is there any water for purification among the people?" He said: A man came with a leftover amount in a water skin. He said: He poured it into a bowl. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution. Then the people came to the remainder of the water for purification and said, "Wipe yourselves, wipe yourselves." He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard them and said, "Gently." He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand in the bowl, inside the water. He said: Then he said, "Perform the ablution fully and thoroughly." He said: Jabir b. Abdullah said, "By the One who took away my sight"—he said, and his sight had been taken—"I surely saw the water gushing out from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he did not raise his hand until they all had performed ablution." Al-Aswad said, "I think he said, 'We were two hundred or more.'"
