حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ جَابِرًا، عَنِ التَّصْفِيقِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ قَالَ جَابِرٌ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ.

Translation

✧ He asked Jabir about clapping and glorification. Jabir said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Clapping is for women in prayer, and glorification is for men.
