حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَعَا عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ بِصَحِيفَةٍ لِيَكْتُبَ فِيهَا كِتَابًا لَا يَضِلُّونَ بَعْدَهُ قَالَ: فَخَالَفَ عَلَيْهَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ حَتَّى رَفَضَهَا.

✧ "That the Prophet ﷺ called for a paper at the time of his death, to write in it a document that would prevent the people from going astray after him. Umar ibn al-Khattab disagreed with him on that until he rejected it."
