حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ح وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِثَلَاثٍ: أَلَا لَا يَمُوتَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُحْسِنُ بِاللهِ الظَّنَّ.

Translation

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say three days before his death: 'Indeed, let none of you die except while he thinks well of Allah.'
