✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Umm Salamah – Ibn Abi Ghaniyyah said: he entered upon A'ishah – with a boy whose nostrils were flowing with blood. Abu Mu'awiyah said in his hadith: And with her was a boy whose nostrils were pouring blood. He said: He asked, 'What is wrong with him?' They said, 'He has the udhra (a disease of the throat).' He said: 'Why do you torment your children? It is enough for one of you to take Indian costus, grind it with water seven times, then pour it into his mouth.' Ibn Abi Ghaniyyah said: 'Then administer it into his nose.' He said: So they did that, and he recovered.
