Translation

✧ The Muslims heard the Prophet of God ﷺ calling out at night: 'O Abū Jahl b. Hishām, O ʿUtbah b. Rabīʿah, O Shaybah b. Rabīʿah, O Umayyah b. Khalaf, have you found what your Lord promised you to be true? For I have found what my Lord promised me to be true.' They said: 'O Messenger of God, are you calling people who have become corpses?' He said: 'You are not more able to hear what I say than they are, except that they cannot respond.'
