✧ I went to Anas b. Mālik and said: O Abū Hamza, the place is far and we would like to visit you. He raised his head and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Any man who visits a sick person plunges into mercy, and when he sits with the sick person, mercy envelops him. He said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, this is for the healthy one who visits the sick, but what is there for the sick one? He said: His sins are shed from him.
