حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ بَكَتْ حِينَ مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَقِيلَ لَهَا: تَبْكِينَ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي وَاللهِ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَيَمُوتُ، وَلَكِنْ إِنَّمَا أَبْكِي عَلَى الْوَحْيِ الَّذِي انْقَطَعَ عَنَّا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ
Translation

✧ Umm Ayman wept when the Prophet ﷺ died, and it was said to her: 'Are you weeping?' She said: 'By Allah, I knew that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would die, but I weep only for the revelation that has been cut off from us from heaven.'
