حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ قَالَ

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ: أَخَضَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ: لَمْ يَشِنْهُ الشَّيْبُ. قِيلَ: أَوَشَيْنٌ هُوَ ؟ قَالَ: كُلُّكُمْ يَكْرَهُهُ، إِنَّمَا كَانَتْ شُعَيْرَاتٌ فِي مُقَدَّمِ لِحْيَتِهِ

Translation

✧ Anas was asked: "Did the Messenger of God ﷺ dye his hair?" He said: "Gray hair did not disfigure him." It was said: "Is it a disfigurement?" He said: "All of you dislike it. It was only a few hairs in the front of his beard."
