✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ held a wedding feast for Zaynab and fed the Muslims their fill of bread and meat. Then he went out as he used to do when he married, visiting the rooms of the Mothers of the Believers, greeting them and praying for them, and they greeted him and prayed for him. Then he returned, and I was with him. When he reached the door, there were two men who had been conversing in a corner of the house. When the Messenger of God ﷺ saw them, he turned back. When the two men saw that the Prophet ﷺ had turned back, they jumped up in alarm and left. I do not know whether I informed him or someone else did, and then the Prophet ﷺ returned.
