حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ، وَمَا كُلُّ أَمْرِي كَمَا يُحِبُّ صَاحِبِي أَنْ يَكُونَ، مَا قَالَ لِي فِيهَا: أُفٍّ، وَلَا قَالَ لِي: لِمَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا ؟ وَأَلَّا فَعَلْتَ هَذَا.

Translation

✧ I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years, and not everything I did was as my companion would have liked. He did not criticize me for anything I did or ask me why I did this or why I did not do that.
