✧ A man from the desert came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "When is the Hour?" He said, "Woe to you! What have you prepared for the Hour?" He said, "I have not prepared anything for it, except that I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then you will be with those you love." His Companions said, "Are we likewise?" He said, "Yes, and you are likewise." They rejoiced greatly that day. Then a servant of al-Mughira b. Shu'ba passed by. Anas said: He was among my peers. The Prophet ﷺ said, "If this one is delayed, old age will not overtake him until the Hour comes." Affan said: We rejoiced greatly that day.
