حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ أَنَسًا أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ شَكَوَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَا فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا، فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قَمِيصِ الْحَرِيرِ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ: قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا قَمِيصًا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ

✧ Al-Zubayr and Abd al-Rahman b. Awf complained to the Prophet ﷺ about lice, and they asked permission for an expedition of theirs, so he permitted them to wear silk shirts. Bahz said: Anas said: I saw each of them wearing a silk shirt.
