✧ We returned from Khaybar—Abu Talhah, the Messenger of God ﷺ, and I—with Safiyyah riding behind him. He said: The she-camel of the Messenger of God ﷺ stumbled, and the Messenger of God ﷺ was thrown, and Safiyyah was thrown. He said: Abu Talhah leapt down and said: O Messenger of God, may God make me your ransom — he said: I am uncertain whether he said that or not — are you hurt? He said: No, look after the woman. He said: Abu Talhah threw a garment over his face and went to her, then stretched his garment over her. Then he fixed her saddle for her, and we mounted. Then we flanked him, one of us on his right and the other on his left. When we came in sight of Madinah, or were at the edge of the harrah, the Messenger of God ﷺ said: Returning, repenting, worshipping, praising our Lord. He kept saying these words until we entered Madinah.
