حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ ابْنَيْهِ، قَالُوا: نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ. قَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] عَنْ تَعْذِيبِ هَذَا نَفْسَهُ لَغَنِيٌّ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was being supported between his two sons. They said, 'He vowed to walk.' He said, 'Indeed, Allah is free of any need for this man to torment himself,' and he ordered him to ride.
