حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُقْبِلُ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُكَبِّرَ فَيَقُولُ: تَرَاصُّوا وَاعْتَدِلُوا، فَإِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ مِنْ وَرَاءِ ظَهْرِي

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to face us with his face before he said the Takbeer (Allahu Akbar), and he would say, "Stand in straight rows and make everything equal, for I am seeing you from behind my back."
