✧ Eighty men from the people of Makkah descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Mount al-Tanʿim, armed, seeking to take the Prophet ﷺ and his companions by surprise. He captured them peacefully and spared their lives. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: 'And it is He who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Makkah after He had given you victory over them.'
