✧ Umm Sulaym sent me with a basket containing fresh dates to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not find him. He had gone out shortly before to a freed slave of his who had invited him and prepared food for him. He said: I came to him and found him eating, so he invited me to eat with him. He said: He had prepared for him a meat and gourd stew. He said: And he liked the gourd. He said: So I began to gather it and bring it close to him. He said: When he had eaten, he returned to his house. He said: I placed the basket before him. He said: He began to eat and distribute it until he finished the last of it.
