✧ It used to please us when a man from the desert would come and ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. A bedouin came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?" The prayer was called, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed. When he finished his prayer, he said, "Where is the one asking about the Hour?" He said, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "What have you prepared for it?" He said, "I have not prepared much in the way of deeds—[not] prayer or fasting—except that I love Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man will be with those he loves." Anas said, "I did not see the Muslims rejoice over anything after Islam the way they rejoiced over that."
