حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ
لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سَنَنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ شِبْرًا بِشِبْرٍ وَذِرَاعًا بِذِرَاعٍ، حَتَّى لَوْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ جُحْرَ ضَبٍّ لَتَبِعْتُمُوهُمْ فِيهِ

✧ You will surely follow the ways of the Children of Israel, span by span and cubit by cubit, until even if a man of the Children of Israel entered a lizard’s hole, you would follow them into it.
