machine translationHe informed me that the leader of these people is a man with a deformed hand, on whose nipple are some hairs like the tail of a jerboa. They searched for him but did not find him. So we came to him and said, "We have not found him." He said, "Search for him, for by God, I have not lied nor been lied to," three times. We said, "We have not found him." Then ʿAlī came himself and kept saying, "Turn over this one, turn over this one," until a man from Kufa came and said, "Here he is." ʿAlī said, "God is greatest! Will no one come to you to tell you who his father is?" Then the people began to say, "This is Mālik, this is Mālik." ʿAlī said, "Whose son is he?"
