حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ وَأَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى فِي جِدَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ نُخَامَةً فَتَنَاوَلَ حَصَاةً فَحَتَّهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِذَا انْتَخَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw mucus on the wall of the mosque, so he took a pebble and scraped it off. Then he said: 'When one of you spits, let him not spit in front of his face or to his right, but let him spit to his left or under his left foot.'
