حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ عَنْ غَسْلِ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ عَنْ غَسْلِ الرَّأْسِ، فَقَالَ: يَكْفِيكَ ثَلَاثُ حَفَنَاتٍ، أَوْ ثَلَاثُ أَكُفٍّ ثُمَّ جَمَعَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، إِنِّي رَجُلٌ كَثِيرُ الشَّعَرِ قَالَ: فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ شَعَرًا مِنْكَ وَأَطْيَبَ
Translation

✧ A man asked him about washing the head, and he said: "Three handfuls, or three scoops, are enough for you." Then he joined his hands and said: "O Abu Sa'id, I am a man with much hair." He said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ had more hair than you and was purer."
