✧ While the Messenger of God ﷺ was one day distributing wealth, Dhu al-Khuwaysirah, a man from Banu Tamim, came to him and said: O Muhammad, be just, for by God you have not been just since today. The Prophet ﷺ said three times: By God, you will not find after me anyone more just toward you than me. 'Umar ؓ said: O Messenger of God, do you permit me to strike his neck? He said: No. He has companions whose prayer one of you would consider insignificant compared to their prayer, and his fasting compared to their fasting. They pass out of the religion as the arrow passes through the game. Its owner looks at its notch and sees nothing. Their sign is a man with one of his hands like a piece of flesh, or like a woman's breast. They will emerge at a time of division among the people. The nearer of the two parties to God will kill them. Abu Sa'id said: I bear witness that I heard this from the Messenger of God ﷺ, and I witnessed 'Ali when he killed them. They were searched for among the slain, and he was found according to the description the Messenger of God ﷺ gave.
