✧ A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'The main food of my family—meaning lizards (dabb).' He did not answer him, and the man did not go far before he repeated it, but he did not answer. He repeated it three times, then he said: 'Allah Almighty cursed, or became angry with, a tribe of the Children of Israel and transformed them into animals. I do not know whether these are some of them, so I do not eat them, but I do not forbid them.'
