Translation

✧ Ibn Umar entered upon Abu Sa'id while I was with him, and said: This one narrated to me a hadith that he claims you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Did you hear it? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Do not sell gold for gold, nor silver for silver, except like for like, and do not give some of it in excess over the other, and do not sell something absent from it for something present.
